Description
This account of what led to the founding of the Anglican Church in North America (and of Trinity School for Ministry) and of the first ten years of the Church’s existence, is written by the man who more than any other was the founding layman of the Province. As a participant in so many different aspects of God’s work of restoring Scripture to its rightful place in Anglicanism, Hugo Blankingship is uniquely able to put things in a wider perspective for all of us. Why it was necessary and how God brought it about is preserved here for the future. The author has given the Church a precious gift for posterity. Those honored within, and those who are yet to come, will be grateful for this clear, winsome, and moving reflection. Glory to God for the story the author unfolds, and for his part in it.
