Description
This edition of the BCP (2019) is adapted for the unique needs of the Church behind bars:
– It is printed in a large size format (6”x9”) for those who may have impaired vision and may not have access to adequate eye-wear.
– Since hardcover books are not allowed in prisons and jails, it is printed in paperback.
– Liturgies that are unlikely to ever be used in a prison setting have been removed (e.g. Installation of a Rector etc).
– A unique preface directly addressing the incarcerated reader introduces the BCP and how to use the Daily Office.
This will be a great resource to prison chaplains, and a great gift to all who find themselves incarcerated.
